Students have many opportunities to participate in Information Assurance activities.

Assistantships

There are usually several graduate and undergraduate assistantships open to highly motivated students. Students should contact the NIATEC manager in the College of Business at Idaho State University.

Workships

Workships are similar to graduate assistantships in that they are in situ internships for students to support faculty research and teaching activities associated with Information Assurance. They are valuable since they show students the fundamentals of research. They integrate students' research learning into a work environment within the university. They support all security and operations for the entire university.

High School

Each year the program accepts one or two highly motivated high school juniors to work in our research facilities. Your teacher should contact the NIATEC directly
